I started flying indoors in January of 1998. I linked up with the local kite club... "Mid Mich. String Stretchers" and progressed quickly with their guidance. The club has weekly indoor flying sessions in the winter. But when the weather warms up a bit I'm often found flying on the beach at Muskegon or Grand Haven. Not only do these flying spots have great scenery, they also have clean steady air free of turbulence. Which allows for rapid advancement in the sport. |
